Keep Your Creativity (and Yourself) from

Falling to the Bottom of the List

A year-long creative community to help you stay connected, supported,
and moving toward what matters, even when life gets in the way.

Introducing:

A caring, dependable space where you can create, reflect, connect,
and receive the gentle accountability you need to keep showing up for yourself.

You won’t find an overwhelming library of videos.

You won’t have weekly assignments to catch up on.

As a Founding Member, you also get to help me shape the membership.

You’ll have two meaningful opportunities to gather each month:

  • One guided creative experience
  • One community and momentum gathering

Simple enough to fit into your life.

Meaningful enough to help you stay connected to yourself, your creativity, and the direction you want to go.

Sometimes Knowing What You Want
Isn’t the Hardest Part

You want to create more.

You want to protect time for yourself.

You want to move forward on a personal, professional, or creative goal.

You want to feel more grounded, expressive, and connected.

The difficult part is keeping your eye on the prize when life gets in the way.

After a class, retreat, workshop, or coaching experience ends, the inspiration may remain,
but the structure and support disappear.

Life goes back to what it was.

Work becomes demanding.

Your attention gets pulled in a thousand directions.

Other people’s needs take priority.

The creative supplies remain untouched, the goal gets placed on hold,
and the things that help you feel like yourself move further down the list.

Not because they aren’t important.

Because it’s difficult to maintain momentum alone.

What My Clients Told Me

Before creating this membership, I asked past
and current clients what they found most meaningful about our work together.

They spoke about:

  • The freedom to create, explore, share, learn, and relax
  • Feeling heard, encouraged, and supported
  • Connection, structure, inspiration, action, and accountability
  • Having the motivation to jump in without worrying so much about the outcome
  • Receiving guidance that felt personal rather than one-size-fits-all

When I asked what became difficult after a program or experience ended, I heard:

“Not having continued connection and accountability.”

“Keeping the spirit of the container and support going.”

“Maintaining focus.”

“Keeping my eye on the prize even while life gets in the way.”

And when I asked what they wanted from an ongoing community, they described:

“A caring, friendly, and dependable creative group.”

“Something ‘sticky’—like a cycle or season to follow.”

“A come-as-you-are and do-what-you-can situation.”

“A sense of belonging…a home to come to when you need it.”

The Painting Your Path™ Membership was created in response to those needs.

You Don’t Need Another Course to Finish

You need a rhythm you can return to.

A place on your calendar that reminds you:

This matters, too.

Your creativity matters.

Your wellbeing matters.

Your ideas and goals matter.

The person you are becoming matters.

This membership gives you a consistent space to pause, create, reconnect, and make meaningful progress without turning personal growth into another demanding project.

It is structured enough to help you maintain momentum and flexible enough to support you during the months when your capacity is limited.

You are invited to come as you are and do what you can.

Introducing

The Painting Your Path™ Membership is a twelve-month creative wellbeing and personal-growth community guided by Dr. Clarissa Castillo-Ramsey.

Each month, we’ll gather around a meaningful theme designed to support creativity, reflection, self-expression, and intentional action.

Our themes might include courage, focus, rest, possibility, voice, belonging, play, resilience, or becoming.

You won’t be asked to master each theme.

We’ll use it as a gentle point of focus—something that helps us explore, create, and stay connected throughout the month.

What Your Year Includes

12 Guided Creative Experiences

Once each month, we’ll gather online for an approachable creative session.

You may be invited to explore watercolor, collage, intuitive painting, journaling, mark-making, mixed media, or another accessible form of self-expression.

Each session will include a simple but thought-provoking prompt.

You’ll have the freedom to follow the prompt, connect it to something you’re already creating, or work in the way that feels most useful to you.

There is no pressure to make “good” art.

You’re here to experiment, express, learn, relax, and enjoy the process.

Sharing will always be optional.

No previous art experience is needed.

12 Community and Momentum Gatherings

Once each month, we’ll come together for conversation, reflection, encouragement, and gentle accountability.

This is where we keep the spirit of the container going.

Depending on the month, you may:
- Check in on a goal or intention
- Share what is challenging you
- Celebrate noticeable progress
- Receive encouragement or thoughtful input
- Reconnect with your direction
- Reflect on what you are learning
- Talk with people who may be navigating something similar

Monthly Themes to Help You Stay Focused

Each month will have a guiding theme that connects our creative experience and community conversation.

The theme offers enough direction to keep the membership cohesive without becoming rigid or prescriptive.

You’ll be able to explore it through your own life, goals, creative work, and current season.

A Special Annual Member Experience

During our founding year, we’ll come together for an extended member experience devoted to creativity, reflection, connection, and celebrating the path we have traveled.

The exact format will be shaped with input from the founding community.

A Voice in the Founding Year

You are not simply joining a finished program and being told what you need.

As a founding member, you’ll be invited to share feedback on themes, scheduling, experiences, and what would make the community most meaningful.

Your voice will help shape what Painting Your Path™ becomes.

Our year together will be guided by the five steps from the Painting Your Path™ framework:

This Is For You if...

  • You know your direction but have difficulty maintaining focus and momentum on your own.
  • You want a regular reason to create without turning art into another performance or obligation.
  • You want to feel heard, supported, and connected to people who value personal growth and creativity.
  • You’re carrying a lot at work, at home, or in your community and need a place to return to yourself.
  • You’re navigating a transition, health challenge, loss, reinvention, or new chapter.
  • You want accountability, but you don’t want to be pressured, judged, or made to feel behind.
  • You’re craving a community with warmth, varied perspectives, and room for everyone to participate in their own way.
  • You want to make noticeable progress without scattering your energy in a thousand directions.
  • You’re ready for a caring, friendly, and dependable creative group.

This Membership Is Not...

❌ An intensive coaching program.

❌ A formal art class focused on technique or critique.

❌ A large course library filled with lessons you may never watch.

❌ A place where one personality dominates the conversation.

❌ A space where everyone has to think, create, or participate in the same way.

❌ Therapy or art therapy.

A Community That Is Structured and Human

Good community doesn’t happen simply because people are placed in the same online room.

It needs thoughtful facilitation.

As your guide, I will help create a space where:

  • People have opportunities to speak without being pressured to share
  • Different perspectives are welcomed
  • No one person takes over the conversation
  • Encouragement is offered without immediately trying to fix someone
  • Creative feedback is shared respectfully and only when desired
  • Members can participate according to their energy and capacity
  • The community remains caring, friendly, and dependable

You don’t have to be the same as everyone else to belong here.

The goal is not sameness.

The goal is meaningful connection.

Why I Created This

Over the years, I’ve watched people leave a workshop, retreat,
or coaching experience feeling inspired and reconnected to themselves.

They remember what matters.

They feel braver.

They begin creating again.

They decide to take a meaningful next step.

But once the experience ends, they return to lives that are already full.

Without continued connection, encouragement, and accountability,
it becomes difficult to maintain what they started.

I began asking myself:
What would it look like to create an ongoing home for this work?

Not another course.

Not another thing to consume.

A place to practice.

A place where you can experience the freedom to create and explore.

A place where you can be heard and supported.

A place to connect, reflect, and continue moving forward—with support.

A place that helps you maintain focus when your brain wants to scatter in a thousand directions.

A place to return to when you need connection, encouragement,
or a reminder that your goals are still worthy of your attention.

The Painting Your Path™ Membership is a facilitated creative wellbeing
and personal-development community.

The Painting Your Path™ Membership is that place.

Meet Your Guide

I’m an organizational psychologist, transformational coach, abstract artist, author, and host of the Painting Your Path™ podcast.

For more than two decades, I’ve helped people navigate change, pursue meaningful goals, express themselves more fully, and create lives that reflect who they truly are.

My own path has included career reinvention, grief, health challenges, creative rediscovery, and rebuilding after the Eaton Fire.

I understand how quickly life can interrupt the path we thought we were taking.

I also believe that an interruption does not mean your growth has stopped.

Inside this membership, I won’t ask you to become more productive, impressive, or polished.

I’ll help you create space to listen, experiment, reconnect, and take the next brave step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an artist?

No.
Our creative experiences are designed for all levels, including people who don’t consider themselves creative or artistic.
This is about exploration, expression, relaxation, and connection—not artistic performance.
What supplies will I need?

Most sessions will use accessible materials such as paper, watercolor, markers, pens, collage materials, or supplies you may already own.
You’ll receive notice of any suggested materials in advance, along with alternatives whenever possible.
When will we meet?

The membership includes two online gatherings each month:
• One guided creative experience
• One community and momentum gathering
The schedule will be shared in advance so that you can protect the time on your calendar.
Will the sessions be recorded?

Replay Policy: The guided creative experiences may be recorded for member access. Our community and momentum gatherings will remain private to protect the trust, safety, and openness of the group.

One possible approach is to record the guided creative experiences while keeping personal community conversations private.
What happens if I miss a gathering?

You are not behind.
Life happens.
The membership is designed to support your life, not create guilt.
Each month gives you a fresh place to return.
Will I receive weekly lessons or assignments?

No.
There will not be weekly lessons or a large content library.
You may receive a simple reflection, prompt, or check-in between gatherings, but the heart of the membership is the two live monthly experiences.
Will there be critique of my artwork?

Formal critique is not part of the membership.
Members may have opportunities to share their work and request supportive observations or feedback, but sharing and receiving input will always be optional.
Is this coaching?

The community gatherings may include reflection, encouragement, and gentle accountability, but this is not a replacement for individual or group coaching.
Is this therapy or art therapy?

No.
The Painting Your Path Membership is a creative wellbeing and personal-development community. It is not psychotherapy, art therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional care.
Why is this called the founding membership?

This is the first year of the Painting Your Path Membership.
The core structure is clear, but founding members will help shape themes, scheduling, community practices, and the annual experience.
What happens after twelve months?

You’ll be invited to continue for another year at your protected founding-member rate, provided your membership remains active.
There is no obligation to renew.
